Resilient Connectivity Network Meeting

Strong communities start with strong connections—and those connections can make all the difference when storms, heatwaves, or emergencies strike. Join us for an action-packed workshop where you'll learn how to build a Community Connections Plan that strengthens relationships in your neighborhood every day while creating an emergency preparedness network for when disruptions happen.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll:

  • Design a Neighbor Connector system tailored to your community—whether you're a street-based neighborhood, apartment building, faith community, or online group

  • Identify your first Neighbor Connectors using proven frameworks

  • Identify vulnerable neighbors who may need extra support during emergencies or disruptions

  • Create an action plan for social events like block parties and seasonal gatherings that build everyday connections

  • Walk away with concrete next steps and ready-to-use tools to activate relationship building in your POD

You'll hear from:

  • 🏘️ San Antonio neighborhood PODs sharing real stories of resilience—from front-yard fiestas to wellness checks and support clusters

  • 🚨 Office of Emergency Management on emergency preparedness systems

  • 📻 ARES/Ham Radio network representatives on communications that work even when the power goes out

This is your opportunity to designate a Connectivity Core Team member for your POD and get equipped with everything you need to transform how your neighborhood communicates, connects, and cares for one another. Whether you're just getting started with Climate Ready Neighborhoods or ready to take your POD to the next level, this interactive workshop will give you the framework, inspiration, and community support you need.

Let's turn neighbors into a network—together! 💪✨
