Resilient Power Network Meeting

When the grid goes down, it's our neighborhoods that feel it first, and it's our neighborhoods that are finding ways to stay ready. October's Climate Ready Neighborhoods network meeting turns our Resilience Plan Roadmap toward Power: the resilience area focused on keeping critical functions running during outages while building toward more sustainable, cost-effective energy for the long term. Together, we'll work through the Power Audit, a hands-on tool that helps your POD assess your current energy situation, identify backup power needs, and explore options—from generators to solar and battery storage—that fit your space, your community, and your budget. Resource partners working on energy resilience will be on hand to share what's available, from CPS Energy assessments and rebates to programs that help bring renewable energy home.

Come ready to hear what other PODs are doing to keep their facilities and neighbors powered through heat waves, winter storms, and everything in between. This is a pivotal stop on your Resilience Roadmap, the moment to move from knowing your vulnerabilities to planning real solutions. We encourage you to bring your Power Coordinator, or someone on your Core Team with an eye for your facility's energy needs and a vision for what a more resilient future looks like. You'll leave with a clearer picture of your priorities, the partners who can help, and the next concrete steps for your POD's Power plan.
