December's Climate Ready Neighborhoods network meeting closes out our year on the Resilience Plan Roadmap with one of the most equity-centered questions we can ask: can every neighbor actually get to your POD—before, during, and after a climate disruption? This month's anchor tool is the Street Audit, a hands-on assessment that helps your POD take a close look at the pedestrian safety, accessibility, and comfort of the streets surrounding your space, paying special attention to wheelchair access, safe bike and pedestrian routes, and opportunities for exercise and outdoor mobility. We'll also dig into your POD's Walkability Score (find yours at walkscore.com/TX/San_Antonio) as a starting point for understanding how connected your neighborhood really is for the people who need it most: seniors, neighbors with disabilities, those without cars, and others who depend on safe streets and reliable transit to access resources.

Come ready to hear how other PODs across the network are tackling transportation gaps, identifying transit options like VIA stops and bike infrastructure, and advocating for accessible design improvements in their neighborhoods.
